CHAIN NACKLACES
Discover your ideal necklace length with these simple measuring tips. Whether you’re after a close-fitting choker or a longer statement piece, our easy instructions will help you measure accurately and choose the perfect length for your style.
To find the right fit, first decide where you’d like the chain to sit on your neck or chest. Chain length is measured from end to end, including the clasp.
1. Wrap a Measuring Tool - Use a soft measuring tape or a piece of string to wrap around the desired area.
2. Mark the Spot - If you're using string, mark where it meets the starting point.
3. Measure the Length - Lay the string flat and use a ruler to measure it in inches or centimeters.
4. Match Your Measurement - Use your measurement to select a chain of a similar length for the perfect fit.
Refer to our visual guide to see how different chain lengths (from 16" / 40 cm to 30" / 75 cm) sit on the body — from collarbone-grazing to mid-chest drape.
