Piercing Sizes & Measuring Guide

It's always advisable to seek guidance from a professional piercer regarding questions about your piercing. However, accurately measuring your jewellery is crucial to finding the right size. To assist you in getting started, here's a guide that can help you with this process.
MEASURE YOUR PIERCING
Gauge size:
The thickness of the bar/ring that goes through the piercing.
Inner diameter:
Refers to the size of the inner part of the hoop, the measurement is taken in a straight line from the centre of the ring.
Outer diameter:
Refers to the size of the outer part of the hoop, the measurement is taken in a straight line from the outer edges of the ring.
Post/Bar length:
The length of the measurement refers to the part that is inserted into the piercing and it is taken in a straight line between the bottom base and the ornament.
